Let me tell everyone something about coat of arms.
The history behind coat of arms was to show what rank you (a family) had.
In my case my family were marshalls. There are many families all over the world that have a coat of arms, but "lost" it or due to circumstances and changes, the family is not aware they have a coat of arms.
After the old noble families were ripped of their titles and other families took over their crests, titles, castles etc. this "game" became a reality.
In other words, the old nobility families had certain ranks, especially in Europe this was a known fact. Due to imposters taking over these families belongings, now the families that are rightfully owners are used for these real life stratego and chess games. Becomming aware, will give you the power not to participate.
That's one reason, why there are many people that are descendants of the original nobel families are found now. Not to give back the status their family used to have, but to use them and their children as a pawn. We are used by the "new" nobility to deal with this, so they won't have to, even they are keeping this "spiritual" reality warfare alive.
Now, during Napoleons time, a lot of people didn't have a last name. He made sure everyone had one. The thing is, like my family, many families were not in Europe at this time. Because families were required to have a lastname they could pickout anyname they wanted. Only the families that were not in Europe at that time, are the only rightfully owners of the coat of arms of their ancestors. Many who had titles like sheriff or marshall were send over seas to regulate structure, but upon return their possessions were taken.
I hope this gives many families the knowlegde of who they are, and that even untill today they inherit their rights to their family coat of arms. Nobody, not even the Kings and Queens of today, cannot prohibit you to use your coat of arms and your families titles.
From now on I expect to be refered as Marquise (Markiezin Clignett, in Europe, with the acknowledgement I am the descendant of Jean Clignett d'Orange, d'Orange is a French title in origin. He stated in his will that the title stays in the house of Chalon(t)) by the European standards and my inherited right. Why? At least I don't do that sick stuff that most royals and "nobility" do. Kidnapping children, murder them for blood sacrifices etc.
